Voting Problems Since The Year 2000.
The AP is the right hand of the administration. Why didn't they report this? The AP doesn't report a first hand account of the politization of the oversight review. Furthermore, the AP's story left out the most important election problem, the voting machines themselves. They were (are) poorly designed. There were widespread machine malfunctions, not isolated incidents in the precincts mentioned in the report. Specific problems were:
-security flaws in electronic voting machines
-the lack of any alternative way to recount the votes in many models
-machines, particularly Diebold machines, malfunctioned at unacceptable levels
The sad result of reports like these and reports of the reports is that no informed citizen has confidence in the voting process.
