Gregg Palast Sheds Some Light On Caging.
Vote caging and secret holds. I feel like I'm at a Skull and Bones meeting. In any event, I was right the first time. The term is not vote cadging. It's vote caging.
My search for the term ‘caging’ in the transcripts of the House Hearings, was not as easy as I thought it would be. Turns out that the term was not in the transcript. So I searched for the term, McNulty, and found Goodlings’ references to ‘caging.’ Only some editor had mis-spelled the term, ‘cadging,’ as if they didn’t know.
